Auto Table of Contents ("the App") is a widget that automatically generates a table of contents from the headings on a page. This policy explains how the App handles data.

How the App works

The App reads the visible heading elements (such as H2 and H3) already present on the page where it is installed, and builds a list of links to those sections. This processing happens in the visitor's browser. The App does not transmit page content, headings, or any visitor information to external servers.

The App does not set cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking technologies.

Site owner settings

Styling and configuration choices made by the site owner (such as colors, position, or plan status) are stored as part of the site's own widget settings through the hosting platform. These are configuration values, not personal data, and are managed by the hosting platform.

The App does not send data to any third parties. Billing and plan management are handled by the hosting platform under its own terms and privacy policy.
